Call Control
Account Code
An account code is used to identify outgoing calls for accounting and billing purposes. The
account code is appended to the SMDR Call record. A company uses an account code for each
User Station so that the company can identify and bill (where applicable) calls made from each
Station. An account code may use up to a maximum of 12digits (0-11).
Operation
To enter an account code before accessing a CO line:
1. Press the programmed {ACCOUNT CODE} flexible button.
2. Dial the account code (max of 12 digits) or the * key.
3. Intercom dial tone should be heard and a CO line is secured to make a call.
To enter an account code during a conversation with an external party:
1. Press the {ACCOUNT CODE} flexible button.
2. Dial the account code (max of 12 digits).
3. Press the {ACCOUNT CODE} flexible button. You will be reconnected to the external
party.
To enter an account code without the {ACCOUNT CODE} flexible button during a
conversation with an external party:
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 550.
3. Dial the account code (maximum 12 digits) or the * key, then reconnect to the external
party.
To assign an {ACCOUNT CODE} flexible button to access the account code feature:
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button
2. Press the FLEX button
3. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button
4. Type 80.
5. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button to accept changes.
