Programming Automated Attendant via the DET (continued)
Setting the Current Evening Mode - Answer Position:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 303):
4) Enter 03-46-08-XX-02 (where XX represents the tenant group for which you want to set
the ALT Mode: 1~3).
5) Press save to display the ALT Mode screen.
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the appropriate directory number (extension, UCD group, Virtual Number) to which you want the
system to route callers when they cannot be routed automatically.
• The default is extension 101.
8) Press save to store the setting.
9) Press next to display a prompt that allows you to specify another new tenant group.
• Repeat steps above programming additional tenant groups (1 to 3).
OR
Press the Hold button to return to the previous programming screen (Answer Position) - see page 307.
OR
10)Press next to display the Auto Attendant Line screen (now go to step 6 in “Enabling the Auto Attendant
Line on the CO Line:” below).
• You will be prompted for the CO line directory number.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Enabling the Auto Attendant Line on the CO Line:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 303):
4) Enter 03-46-09-XXX (where XXX represents the CO line you want to program: 800~839).
5) Press save to display the Auto Attendant Line screen.
6) CO line (Y/N).
• If you want the AA to answer this CO line, set this field to yes (Y).
• The default is N (no) - do NOT use the Auto Attendant on this CO line.
7) Press next to display the Auto_A Line screen (now go to step 6 in “Enabling the Auto Attendant line:”
below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
