Setting Up UCD VA Groups via PC-DBA (continued)
2) Select the extension number you want to use for the voice announce group.
• Valid entries include any non-conflicting extension number.
In the Port Type field at the right center portion of the screen:
3) Select VA for the analog port connected to the RAD.
4) Click the Update button to enter this setting into the database on the local disk.
• Use the procedure above to select the VA analog port connected to a RAD you want to use in the VA
group.
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
From the PC-DBA main screen:
6) Program your UCD group as described in Setting Up UCDs (see “Programming UCDs via PC-DBA” on
page 345).
IMPORTANT!
• Be sure to program the UCD group number you want to use as the V.A. group.
Also be sure to assign V.A. in the Attribute field.
• In the overflow destination fields, enter the V.A. UCD group number.
When you have finished all programming changes:
7) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.

NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
