Set the Voice Mail Dialing Ratio (continued)
SET THE VOICE MAIL DIALING RATIO VIA THE DET
NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to actuate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Press next to display each of the Call Handling Digits setting screens.
Programming VM Dialing Ratio – Tone Time:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 03-34-01.
5) Press save to display the Call Handling – VM Dialing Ratio – Tone Time screen.
6) Press chg until you see the appropriate Tone Time you want to use.
7) Press next to display the Inter-digit Time screen (now go to step 6 in the next section).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Programming VM Dialing Ratio – Inter-Digit Time:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 03-34-02.
5) Press save to display the Call Handling – VM Dialing Ratio – Inter-Digit Time.
6) Press chg until the inter-digit time you want to use displays.
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
E- Activate Automated Attendant for Third Party Voice Mail
To activate Automated Attendant, set the answering position to the UCD group directory number that coincides with
voice mail (usually 433, UCD Group 24). See
“Setting the Answer Position for Day and Evening” on page 104 for
details about making the appropriate settings via PC-DBA and/or DET.
