Assigning Extensions to CO Lines via PC-DBA (continued)
2) Select the extension number you want to program.
In the Line Access Assign field just below the Extension field where all of the CO lines are listed and set as
assigned to the extension(s):
3) Select the appropriate CO line number(s).
• For each directory number, you can assign all valid CO line numbers.
• All of the CO lines are listed and each has a Y or N following it.
• The default is "Y" (i.e., Yes) for all directory numbers on all lines.
• To unassign a CO line from the extension, highlight the line number and double-click. This toggles the
Y to N.
4) Click the Update button to enter and save your settings into the database on your local disk.
• Program other lines as needed using the steps above.
When all assignments have been made:
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
Once all database changes have been completed:
6) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
ASSIGNING EXTENSIONS TO CO LINES VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 01-XXX-23-NN (where XXX is the extension: 101~204; and NN represents the CO line 01~40
access).
5) Press save to display the CO line access for extension and CO you specified.
6) Press chg to select if you want the to assign the current CO line to the currently selected extension.
• Valid selections are Y or N for each C0 line.
• The default is yes.
7) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
• Use the procedure shown above to assign other extensions to other CO lines, as needed.
OR
Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
