Incoming Call Pickup 1-120
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
A user also may access the appropriate destination directly by dialing the station, Hunt
Group number, or voice mail announcement.
If a caller:
- enters a digit associated with a voice mail announcement, the announcement is
played. When the user presses the digit again, call routing is initiated.
- dials a full destination number, the call will be directly routed to the appropriate
destination by the system numbering plan.
- enters one digit then pauses, the system will compare the dialed digit to the CCR
Table. If a matching digit is found on the CCR Table, and the bin number is the same
as the programmed voice mail announcement, the call will be routed to that
destination.
- enters an invalid digit, they can attempt to redial up the correct number(s) a total of
three times. When the DISA Retry Counter is exceeded, the call will be routed to the
recall destination or disconnected following an error tone. The DISA Retry Counter is
programmable (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
- dials, and is routed to, a destination that is busy, the call is rerouted to busy
destination (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
- does not dial a destination before the DISA retry count has expired, or if the dialed
destination is invalid, the call is rerouted to the Time Out /Error destination (see
ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
- dials, and is routed to, a destination that does not answer, the call is rerouted to the
No-Answer destination (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
Voice mail announcements 01-70 may be used for CCR.
The maximum CCR depth is 10.
An external caller can dial alternate digits during the voice mail announcement or within
the Inter-digit Time (5 sec) after the announcement has ended.
During CCR, a caller can press:
- # to return to the beginning of CCR.
- * to return to the previous action within CCR.
If VMIB Drop is selected in the CCR Table, the call will be dropped immediately after the
voice mail announcement.
If a call is routed through System Speed Dial, the call will be routed to the corresponding
Speed Dial destination. If a CO Call is assigned a System Speed Dial number, it will be
routed in the same way as an "Incoming CO Off-net Call Forward" call.
The current CCR voice mail announcement (current depth) will be repeated until the DISA
"retry count" expires unless the caller presses digit, the destination is determined to be
busy, or an error occurs. The CCR announcement retry count is determined by each CCR
announcement depth.
