SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Centralized Voice Mail System (VMS)
An external Voice mail system can be used within a networked SBX IP 320 system.
CONDITIONS
When a centralized VMS is assigned in a networked system, the number of the
centralized VMS should be the same as the representative number of mail access created
in the master system.
The Numbering Plan (including the representative number of mail access assigned in
master system) should be included in the Numbering Plan of QSIG group in networked
system.
ADMIN PROGRAMMING
Set the Network Destination MBU IP
Use PGM 324 … see page A-25
Assign Station Group - Centralized VMS Assignment
Use PGM 190 … see page 1-100.
CO Ring Assignment
A user can assign a CO Ring to one of the networked stations.
CONDITIONS
This feature is based on the network feature.
Only one Network-station can be assigned by Network-Destination (see Admin
Programming).
Network-station type (4) must be assigned to a Network-station number.
Incoming calls to the CO line specified will be routed to the assigned network user.
Additional call handling rules are as follows:
- if the ring assignment is set to Network-station, the system will search for an idle
network CO line.
- if the network CO line is idle, the incoming call will be connected to the assigned
Network-Destination-station.
- if the network CO line is busy, the call will be routed to the Error-Destination specified
(see Admin Programming).
