Chapter 1: Basic System Features

Set/Change Ring Phase
OPERATION / SETUP
When an incoming CO call is received at a CO line board, the CID signal is automatically
detected by the DSP MBU, then CLI information is distributed to the designated station.
CO Line Preset Forward
This feature allows a CO line call to ring at multiple stations and forward to a pre-determined
destination. The destination can be a Station (EKT-SLT), Voice Mailbox, VMIB prompt, UCD
group, or Hunt group. Each CO line has a Preset Forward Timer. Each CO line also has a VMID
field to allow sending of specific VM digits when a CO line forwards to a VM group.
CONDITIONS
• CO Preset Forward applies to analog loop start CO lines only.
• CO Line Preset Forward will not occur if initial call rings to a group (e.g., UCD, external VM
group, or Hunt group).
• When a CO line is set to Preset Forward, a station will not ring if the station is assigned to
a Hunt group.
• CO Line Preset Forward feature overrides All Call forwarding feature (station forwarding
and Station Preset Call Forwarding).
