OPERATION / SETUP
IMPORTANT: The method use for placing a call on either Hold type is based on the setting in
Hold Preference - see CONDITIONS and ADMIN PROGRAMMING.
To place a CO Line on Hold from a digital phone:
Press [HOLD/SAVE] once or twice for System/Exclusive Hold (depending upon the setting
in Hold Preference).
To place a CO Line on Hold from an SLT phone:
Perform a hook-flash, then enter 560 to put a call on System or Exclusive hold (depending
upon the setting in Hold Preference).
To retrieve a held call from the digital phone that placed the hold:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Press the CO button.
-or-
Press 8 # and the CO Line number.
To retrieve a held call from the SLT phone that placed the hold:
Lift the handset, then press 8*.
To use Automatic Hold while on a CO Line call:
1. Press a CO button.
2. When the new CO Line is connected, the previous CO Call is placed the Admin
Programmed preferred Hold state.
Park
A User can park an ICM or CO call in a "virtual" location. In this way, the appropriate user can
(be paged and) pick up (unpark) the call by dialing the designated location number.
CONDITIONS
To receive a parked call, the station MUST have CO button.
If a CO call remains unanswered for the duration of the Call Park Recall time:
1. the station that parked the call receives a ringback, then -
2. If the call remains unanswered, the Attendant station receives a ring back for the
amount of time set for Attendant Recall timer.
3. If none of the stations answer within the allotted times, the call will be
dropped.Attendant stations do not receive ringback for unanswered intercom calls.
