ADMIN PROGRAMMING
Refer to the Station Programming.
OPERATION / SETUP
To enter the programming mode:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM].
The User Programming Main Menu appears.
2. Use the up and down navigation buttons to view other options in each menu.
3. Enter the number of the menu item you want to access.
Hint: Press [TRANS/PGM] to return the Main Menu.
Station Relocation
The Station Relocation Feature allows users to maintain all of their station information (including
station number, button mapping, speed dial, and class of service) if they move their station to a
new location. Once a user unplugs his/her station, then plugs it in at a new location, the
previously mention attributes can be restored for the new station location.
IMPORTANT: Digital phones must be relocated to another digital port. Digital phones cannot be
relocated to an SLT port.
CONDITIONS
All port information for the a station will be retained so that it may be copied or relocated to
another port.
If a station type different from the one previously used at a location is plugged,
preprogrammed {DSS} buttons are not guaranteed to retain their settings.
OPERATION / SETUP
To store (back up) the station attributes to a temporary buffer (in preparation for relocation):
1. Press [TRANS], then * 1 (for station back up).
2. Unplug the station.
To retrieve stored station attributes once a station has been relocated:
1. Plug the phone in at another properly wired jack.
2. Press [TRANS], then * 2 (for station retrieve).
The station is relocated in the system, and all station attributes are copied to the
current station location.
