Dialing Security
This feature allows you to program a speed dial number that prevent the calling number from
being displayed on the LCD of the phone being dialed.
CONDITIONS
Dialed phone numbers using a Dialing Security number are included in SMDR
information.
This feature applies to transferred, recalled, and re-dialed CO calls.
OPERATION / SETUP
To program a speed dial number with security dialing:
NOTE: Speed dial starting with * is operated with dialing security.
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then press [SPEED].
2. Enter a speed dial bin number, then press *.
3. Enter the speed number.
4. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the speed dial entry.
To activate a speed dial with security dialing:
Press [SPEED], then enter the Speed Dial bin number that was programmed with dialing
security (see above).
Distinctive Ring Tone
The Ring Tone signal used to notify stations of incoming calls can be set to provide distinctive
ringing on a per CO line basis. A distinctive ring tone can be programmed for each CO line that
is used to ring each station.

Set Ring Frequency
Use PGM 422 … see Nation Specific settings on page 1-243.
CO Distinct Ring -- if this value is not set to 0, the designated
ring tone is heard at the Station when it receives an incoming
CO call, so that the user can distinguish incoming CO calls
and ICM calls with the different ring tones.
